Doctoral studies – Doctoral studies (Licentiate/Doctor) usually last four years. They combine taught course work and research for a thesis.
Scholarship Opportunities:
All foreign students should apply directly to the higher education’s institutions for each course and programmed. Foreign students’ counsellors and the admissions offices can provide the necessary information and forms.
Although tuition is typically free, students should still consider the cost of living in Sweden. Over 500 scholarships for students and researchers travelling to Sweden are managed primarily through the Swedish Institute (Svenska Instituted). However, SI scholarships are only available to students pursuing graduate-level or advanced/research studies in Sweden’s English-language programmed.
